This film was rated a 15 and is very much appealing to the teenage audience. Chatroom is a film based on the internet, the film is appealing to teenagers as many teenagers use Chat rooms. Many people who are Aaron Johnson fans would come and see a film such as this as he plays the role of a psychopath in Chatroom. This film is based around teenagers and what is happening in every day life. This is a thriller of a film as it builds up as we go along creating more tension, gripping the audience and bringing them into the film as well. The trailer for this film shows that it is a thriller and also takes the audience telling them about the film showing you what is going on but leaving some things a mystery wanting you to go and see it. Chatroom shows that not only do people get bullied in reality that also online many people are bullied into doing things they don't want to do this would hit the target audience of teenagers as they like to see what other teenagers do, that many teenagers use Chatrooms to be someone there not as you can be anyone you want when you are online.
